The Byron Forest Preserve is pleased to announce the annual Halloween on the Prairie on Sunday, October 20, from 12:00-5:00 pm. This family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Byron Park District. Some of the offerings featured include games, hayrides, crafts, Raptor Rehab owl and hawk demonstrations, a bounce house, and more. There will be a costume parade at 1:00, so be sure to dress up! The forest preserve will also offer a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, and bottled water.
