The Byron Forest Preserve will host its Annual Halloween on the Prairie event on Sunday, October 23^rd, from Noon-4 pm. This family-friendly event is co-sponsored by the Byron Park District.

Activities include hayrides, crafts, Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab owl and hawk demonstrations, a bounce house and more. The Byron Park District will offer paid ticketed games and apple sling shot. There will be a costume parade at 1 pm, so be sure to dress up! The forest preserve will also offer a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, and bottled water.
